Basalt Tiles

Basalt tiles in honed and flamed finishes. Dense volcanic stone in deep grey to charcoal — for floors, hearths and outdoor steps.

Basalt is the quietly architectural choice — a dense volcanic stone with the deep grey-to-charcoal palette that makes it perfect for contemporary schemes where you want stone's weight without the movement of marble or the texture of slate.

A honed finish gives a flat, even matt surface that works for entire kitchen and living-room floors; flamed basalt has a fine textured surface ideal for outdoor steps, pool surrounds and wet-room floors where slip resistance matters.

Basalt takes underfloor heating well, is suitable for wood-burner hearths, and ages without colour change — what you specify is what you get in twenty years. Free samples posted within 48 hours.
